Finally – a lesson, which I
thought I had learnt. But I (and I know I am not alone) was taken in by a
plausible conman. I was recently approached by an ex-member from Germany –
Patrick Dieth. If he contacts you, wanting to sell pens or parts, ignore him.
He does have journals and members’ lists going back 2 or 3 years so he has
addresses of many current members. Please do not part with money as I did. I
employed a firm of German lawyers, not that the sum involved was particularly
great, but they have told me he is a con man. He is under criminal
investigation in Germany, has already relieved his parents of 30,000 Euros,
and there are prosecutions pending. So be warned.
