Here is a beautiful silverplated Grain d'Orge FP fitted with a very colorful opal set into the cap tassie.

I don't believe the opal was set by Parker but I don't rule that out because this pen once was part of the Parker 75 collection owned by Andreas Lambrou, the author of the the definitive book Fountain Pens of the World.

This pen is in excellent condition and appears to be unused. It comes with a French-made 14K Medium nib and converter. It is an very classy pen to sit in one's purse or pocket, and would make an excellent addition to a discriminating collector.
